Albrecht Ziepert, part of the electronic band Pentatones, theatre musician and composer for the Berlin dance company MS Schrittmacher. In their new performance HEIMATFRONT (DOMESTIC FRONT) MS Schrittmacher is dealing with the question ‚How long we can ignore the exploiting and martial consequences of our lifestyle in the comfort zone of Europe‘. Playing live in the performance Albrecht Ziepert creates an own sound world of electronic and classic music, coupled with ton fragments from commercials and field recordings.

Silence
2.How and when did you get into making music?
I started playing violin at the age of seven.
3.What are your 5 favorite albums of all time?
Hard to tell, I’m having continuously changing phases with different albums. As I’m quite old fashion and still buy vinyl and CDs I’m listening to what I just bought. Right now I’m listening to the latest albums of Radiohead, Moderat and De La Soul.
4.What do you associate with Berlin?
Diversity (love it), cultural life, good food, restlessness, lovely people

My apartment

Enjoy listening to nature.
