In 2017, the Bunte Truppe, a group of musicians from Limpe Fuchs, Ruth-Maria Adam, Ignaz Schick and Ronnie Oliveras, met in front of their audience with a variety of percussion, wind and string instruments as well as various electronic means – improvising, challenging and beyond so-called genre boundaries and musical conventions. Limpe Fuchs has been internationally known as a musician for many decades (many years in the free and improv duo Anima-Sound), Ruth-Maria Adam and Ronnie Oliveras also make noise at Datashock and the Flamingo Creatures, while Ignaz Schick rushes from artist residency to artist residency with the turntable under his arm.
The Bunte Truppe play on it cheerfully and apparently carefree, but attentively for each other & free themselves, and so the supposedly incompatible, musically disparate come together casually. The material doesn’t want to be mastered, it has suffered enough already. The Bunte Truppe are:
Limpe Fuchs (percussion, Röhrophon, viola, voice)
Ruth-Maria Adam (violin, electronic voice)
Ronnie Oliveras (electronically extended Zeux, clarinet)
Ignaz Schick (record player, electronics, digital loops)
