Philosopher and musician Dirk Markham grew up in Scotland but has been living in Berlin since 2004. He has been part of the D/B editorial team since 2009. As a DJ Dirk hosts the fortnightly Digital in Berlin radio show and is available for parties and functions. Besides this he is a passionate creator of ambient/experimental music with regular releases and occasional live performances. Dirk's preferred genres are post-rock, indietronica and pop but in the true tradition of his hero John Peel his taste knows no boundaries.
