This show has been cancelled!! Simply put, the Big Ups sound like they are enjoying themselves way too much for that nonsense. The well-earned melodic turns, the spastic energy, and the youthful spunk in the music all works together to force its wrinkled, grumpy face into a wry grin.
The result leaves the listener with no choice but to read between the lines. Turn it up loud, have fun with it, smash some shit, and let the whirlwind that is Eighteen Hours of Static bowl you over in all of its balls-out glory. Just don’t expect these guys to help get back up.
