Take a roller coaster ride through language menus and labyrinths of choices – swing past the dizzying heights, sinister slopes and depressing lows of the 21st century life rendered a slave to optimization.
In the Callcenter Übermorgen, the participants are seated in separate cabinets. The telephone rings. Who or what tells me, what I am supposed to dial? Who is pulling the strings? Is my neighbor experiencing a better trip?
Callcenter Übermorgen is an evening about the responsibility to yourself and to others, about freedom of choice and digital democracy. It is a suggestive telephone travel into the hypertextual matrix of possibilities, past dizzy heights, uncanny slopes and depressing depths of a life that is always under the contraints to optimize.
