True to his relentless tour-schedule, former Can frontman Damo Suzuki is back less than a year after his last Berlin show. This time for a very special collaboration with Kraut-influenced local supergroup Groupshow.
[audio:01 – i want more.mp3]If you didnt manage to get into his very crowded last performance at Ausland, dont miss the chance to witness this inspired vocalist in the somewhat more spacious Festsaal Kreuzberg. And with support from Hypnodrome, a new project feat. Dirk Dresselhaus aka Schneider TM, theres yet another reason to look forward to this event.
As a vocal performer and frontman he is up there with Captain Beefheart and Mark E Smith. The tour schedule of this 60 year old rock veteran is relentless and he has an interesting concept for his live performances. Wherever Damo Suzuki plays he recruits a new band made up of local musicians or friends who happen to be in town.

The result is quite unpredictable and makes for a new and exciting live show each time. Since leaving Can, Suzuki has distanced himself from the conventional music industry Although his release output might not be the most prolific, he is constantly on the road with the live Network and shows no signs of slowing down with age.
On this occasion the support comes from local experimental supergroup, the trio Groupshow. Comprising of Jan Jelinek, Hano Leichtmann and Andrew Pekler they have collectively released on Scape as well as Dekorder and Jelinek is currently running his own label Faitiche for some of his output under the moniker Ursula Bogner as well as other material.
