DEBACKER HÜBSCH JAVAID are house band and organizer of the Cologne improvisation series “Plattform Nicht Dokumentierbarer Ereignisse”. Their music reflects a wealth of experience from diverse musical encounters with their guests. The interactions are carried by precise listening and the interplay of fusion and own voice. The trio presents a sonorous amalgam of three independent players, beyond restrictive aesthetic concepts. What it is: piano, tuba and saxophone in the hands of listening musicians.
As improvisers and interpreters of new music, Marlies Debacker and Salim Javaid have within a short period of time matured into permanent important figures in the scene of NRW. Carl Ludwig Hübsch is active as a player, composer and interpreter beyond genre boundaries, but always with a focus on improvisation.
