A great double release concert for Eagle Boston and Jochen Arbeit & Dirk Dresselhaus at West Germany this December.
Crossing almost as many borders as they do genres, Berlin based, psychedelic dream-poppers Eagle Boston are prepping the release of their third album, Cosmic Parade. It finds them refining their hypnotic, pulsing sound even further, with Yelka Wehmeier’s ethereal vocals and driving bass lines twisting through Jonas Verwijnen’s space age synth lines and Christian Obermaier’s imaginative, economically motorik rhythms.
Jochen Arbeit (of Einstürzende Neubauten, Automat, ex-Die Haut) & Dirk Dresselhaus (Schneider TM, die Angel, Locust Fudge) coincidentally met in Berlin a few years ago and played their first concert together in 2010 in Dresden, both joining other musical projects at the time. The chemistry worked immediately and they decided to play improvised concerts.
