Sex and trance, politics and breaking barriers: these are the themes that Steven Warwick deals with in his project, Heatsick.
On his debut album “Intersex”, he interprets Magnus Hirschfeld’s sexual theories using electronically generated beats.
For Foreign Affairs, he will be performing his project “Extended Play” in which he prolongs a single track for hours until even the most experienced minimal-techno dancer loses all feeling for time and physicality.

According to Warwick, he wants to blur and dissolve the boundary between the present and the very recent past – the “now” and the “just now” – by stretching it into infinity.
The Heatsick Party will happen twice. Surprise guests will perform, unfamiliar spaces will be explored, texts projected and occasionally read aloud, and most of all, there will be the most beautiful and colourful forms of disorientation that can be imagined.
