The second edition of Gate of Tehran, the experimental music festival organized by House No.4, is happening this November in the beautiful cities of Berlin and Köln. With a lineup comprising of artists from across genres and around the globe, we’re attempting at maximizing cultural interactions, while also focusing on showcasing Tehran’s music scene.
This year we have more Persian artists from outside of Iran, who excel at blurring the boundaries between eastern and western music. We’re taking a thorough look at Jazz and how these artists have come up with their own new interpretations of it. There will also be improvised sessions where these musicians will pour their minds and souls into one intricate live set.
Another intriguing part of the festival is the Artist Talks. Managed by Vedad Famourzadeh, Gate of Tehran will present a roster of capable speakers conversing on various subject matters.
