Though currently Berlin-based, Vlada remains Moscow-attached. More than 10 years of deep dive into the global electronic scene have resulted in a residency at Arma17 and the curation of The Volks-parties. The disruption of boundary and convention in all its senses was empowered by a love of travel. It’s this “spinning around” that’s led Vlada to immerse herself in different cultural peculiarities and has taught her to juggle meanings and styles.
Akin to the sensation of having liquid glass puring through your ears (oh, you know that feeling…) Konrad Black’s shadowy production style and charismatic sets have gained him an enviable reputation. His sound is a masterwork of contradictions, pairing apocalyptic basslines and moody synth progressions with a cinematic worldview that’s telling a story from between the lines. Black has played the scene’s most coveted venues, including Fabric in London, Rex in Paris, Privilege in Ibiza, and has held a prestigious residency at Panorama Bar.
Chica Paula combines a bold fusion of fairytale-like ambient with house, techno and electropop. Her sets are unforeseeable, dynamic and a lot of fun. The main thread is house music, but it’s far from industry standard. Chica loves rebellion, to revel in différence, telling “dance stories” with records sought from 15 plus years of DJ-experience.
