After more than 7 years of continious musical activity, two records and good load of concerts all over Europe, the quartet Die Hochstapler (Borghini, Borel, Laurain Lingens) is settling down in his hometown for four nights in a row. In the cosy atmosphere of Sowieso’s salon, here is a unique opportunity to attend the elaboration of their best recipes. Card games, memory tricks, alphabets, mathematic rhythms, labyrinthic melodies and a pinch of mischief. Those are the ingredients of a playful grammar that re-structures itself every night to create an intense and unexpected musical experience.
To spice-up the whole thing, Die Hochstapler has prepared a special treat for its guests by putting on the grill some of the finest Berliner artists : The Still and their slow cooked family recipes, Joel Grip’s spicy soup on cello, the freshly cut Bubu and to put oil on the flame, Mat Pogo and his hard boiled mixtures.
