Tryon is the project of multi-instrumentalist and composer Kellen Mills, who moved 2014 from Seattle to Berlin. He formerly performed with the experimental avantgarde rock project ALEX’S HAND. In 2020 Mills composed his first tracks for TRYON. The wild mix, played by the ten musicians involved with sleepwalking ease, encompasses a whole universe of musical influences. Pop, rock, jazz, avant-garde – everything seems to be happening at the same time and many of the songs work with complex rhythm changes and silly lyrics.
