Turntablist Joke Lanz creates autonomous sound-cells that melt into a language free of any function. He combines ritual reductionism with anarchistic playfulness, atmospheric soundscapes with cut-up noise and physicalness with unpredictability: Massive scratches, walls of sound, grooves, loops, noises and voice modulations!
Using primarily the voice with cello, Audrey Chen’s work delves deeply into her own version of narrative and non-linear storytelling. A large component of her music is improvised and her approach to this is extremely personal and visceral. Her playing explores preparations, traditional and extended techniques in both instruments. She works to join these elements into a singular ecstatic personal language.

Jealousy Party is a Berlin based abstract R&B outfit blending noise and improvisation with funk, avant rock, dub and idiosyncratic electronic collage – a fusion they term Punca. Founded in Florence, Italy in 1995 by producers Roberta WJM Andreucci and Mat Pogo, JP keep their line-up open to variations and explorations, with multi- instrumentalist Edoardo Ricci as their main collaborator.
Stine Janvin Motland is a performer and composer based in Stavanger, Oslo and Berlin. With an instrumental and physical approach, she explores and pushes the limits of the natural acoustics of the voice, and what a singer can, and cannot be. Her work involves elements of conceptual and spontaneous composition, improvisation, performance, and sound poetry. With her latest solo project Stine II, she provides an electro acoustic sound collage involving field and voice recordings, mixed with live vocals and uneven beats.
