Two phenomenal drummers come to the Widerstandsmuseum in Friedrichshain this September.
Rudi Fischerlehner plays drums in various different musical projects that fall between improvised and experimental music, jazz and post-rock. He also composes and produces music for bands, film and performances.
Berlin-based artist Katharina Ernst started playing the drums at age nine, with an early focus on polymetric, odd and chaotic structures. She studied abstract painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna and simultaneously started touring worldwide with projects in the music and performance context. She spent eight years living mainly in France before she finally moved to Germany.
