Kontraklang presents: ROLLBERGIDYLL – A production by Kontraklang in cooperation with Opera Lab Berlin for 48 Stunden Neukölln
“Rollbergidyll” is a new music theater piece from Opera Lab Berlin produced by Michael Höppner with stage design by Martin Miotk, in which actors from the ensemble (Nina Guo, Alba Gentil-Tedeschi, Jone B. Nunez and Martin Miotk) seek real, genuine life. In keeping with the long-forgotten genre of the Idyll, the bourgeois bohemian enters the community house of the Rollberg neighbourhood and meets the residents of the community at a buffet. As the performance unfolds, an idyllic representation of real life is presented through the playful arrangement of several pieces of contemporary music.
