The legendary band LYCHEE LASSI from Berlin is celebrating their 25th anniversary with a tour in their original formation. Founded in Berlin in 1999, Based, Beat, Berger and DJ illvibe came together again to finally present their unique mix of hip hop beats, turntablism and jam band improvisation live again.

Hip hop with jazz, kraut and funk. But that is just the basis into which an incredible amount of inspiration from music history is introduced in order to consistently trim it to individuality with the strangest energy, total power and alienated voices of vinyl. This is how they have earned a quite legendary reputation as a live band. — taz
