The performance artist Mad Kate and the multi-instrumentalist Tide of Sound present works from their tonally conceptual world. In their album ALIVEness, they dive into the question of what it means for others to be “alive in our life“ – physically, emotionally, electronically, living or dead – how does this impact empathy and behavior?
With Mad Kate at the mic and The Tide on the guitar with electronic loops, they demonstrate their queer self-understanding in sexWORKperformanceART, a collection of songs that examine the sexually pulsating body in the pursuit of survival, urgency, and passion.
