Following the release of their new album Consumer on Fun in the Church, Melt Trio play at Donau115 this March.
Melt Trio are drummer Moritz Baumgärtner and the Meyer brothers Bernhard on bass and Peter on guitar. Since their formation in 2010 they have become one of the most innovative contemporary jazz guitar trios in the world.
With their progressive and unique sound their have delighted the music industry, fans and concert goers at jazz festivals and club concerts around the world. In their still short career they have been nominated 3 times for the ECHO JAZZ prize. Following their highly praised records “Melt”, “Hymolia” and “Stroy” their long awaited album “Consumer” came out on 4th November on Fun In The Church/Bertus.
