As part of the BerMuDa programme Tresor hosts an oceanclub night with live shows by monika enterprise artists Barbara Morgenstern and label founder Gudrun Gut, both of whom have just released new albums. Rounding off the lineup is a DJ set by resident oceanclubber Thomas Fehlmann.
The radio show might have been pulled from the RadioEins schedule, but this live show is proof enough that oceanclub is going strong. Guaranteed Halloween good times in store then here.
Berlin musician, composer, producer and broadcaster, Gudrun Gut is a seminal figure in the German music scene. Through her ever-changing interdisciplinary music-based practice and regular output of recordings and performance activity, she has maintained a high profile in Europe for over thirty years.

As with all of Morgenstern’s music, SWEET SILENCE exudes a glorious honesty which is just what makes her electronic-pop sound so appealing. The record was mixed by Shitkatapult founder Marco Haas aka T.Raumschmiere giving the whole thing that unmistakable Berlin sound.
Sweet Silence is no less than the sixth album by Berlin based musician Barbara Morgenstern. Following 2010’s Fan No. 2, a greatest hits compilation of a different kind, the album contains a fresh collection of all new songs sung for the first time only in English.
