Nadja is a duo of Aidan Baker & Leah Buckareff alternately based in Toronto, Canada & Berlin, Germany.

Originally formed by baker in 2003 as a solo endeavour, buckareff joined in 2005 to bring nadja out of the studio & into a live setting. they have since released numerous albums with several different labels & have toured extensively in around the world.

Classically trained in flute, he is self-taught on guitar, drums, and various other instruments. As a solo artist, Baker explores the deconstructive sonic possibilities of the electric guitar as a primary sound source, creating music that ranges from experimental to post-rock to contemporary classical.
Eric Quach mostly plays guitar+fx & performs under the name thisquietarmy, a one-man solo drone/ambient project.
Quach composes visual guitar-based soundscapes and experimental music that wander nowhere near typical song structures. By exploring his guitar as a tone generator, he furthers the boundaries of his instrument with the use of multiple effect processors & real-time loop-samplers, alternating the guitar signal’s shape and tone, blending textures over textures, merging a wide combination of sounds together and developing the melodies hidden in these walls of sound.
