New Sounds of Istanbul and Berlin. Berlin – Istanbul, two cultural metropolises and
attractions so often interwoven with each other.
In the 25th year of the city partnership between Berlin and Istanbul, the RADIALSYSTEM V and the Borusan Music House in Istanbul are launching the series “New Sounds of Istanbul and Berlin”, which will shed a light on the music scene in both cities regardless of genre boundaries and the usual clichés.

The series “New Sounds of Istanbul and Berlin” will open in October with a long night at the RADIALSYSTEM V. Small concerts and performances will introduce current trends in the Istanbul music scene and its post-migrant counterpart in Berlin.
The spectrum will reach from contemporary to New Music, all the way to Jazz/Fusion, sound experiments and club music. On German Unity Day the program will culminate with a thematic focal point on how resistance movements and the protest culture are dealt with.
