Deemed “punk with zero apology” by Lola Mag, nunofyrbeeswax are a vivacious exposé of Lo-Fi hymns for real human beings. Writing music as simple, unpolished, and stripped down as they come, they fuse garage beats with surfy guitars geared to melting your melancholic bones. Their sound has been described as an idiosyncratic blend of garage rock, post punk, and “proto-indie” for lack of a better term. Although their music escapes easy associations, they have tendencies toward sounds akin to Half Japanese, the Velvet Underground, The Ex, The Fall, Beat Happening, B52s and The Cramps.
After releasing a 3-song demo in January 2016 and their first full length cassette album ‘On Everything’ in Summer of the same year via Black Bug Records / Et Mon Cul C’est du Tofu?, the viciously dynamic Spanish/Italian duo are back this April 2018 with their newest release ‘Music Don’t Matter’, as raw as their hearts have been able to express thus far. The evening will be opened by the pure poems and honest song treasures of LAKE FELIX, a Berlin-based one-woman band oscillating between epic and psychedelic-electronic colored folk-rock, backed by loops of sounds, beats, guitar- and voice-scapes, and scraps of human being.
