What do Berlin and Jerusalem have in common? –Right, they are both in Iceland! This is at least the impression that you get, once you listen to Ori’s music.
Ori Alboher started his musical career in a four piece band in his hometown Jerusalem; ever since he moved to Berlin he performs as a solo-artist.

On his self-released debut album Unwind layers of Vocals, Xylophone, Synth, Guitar, Acoustic Loops and Samples stretch out and embrace. His music draws dreamy tonal landscapes, which can be associated with Icelandic bands like Múm or Amiina.
It’s no coincedence that his first record was mastered by Mandy Parnell, who has also been working with acts like Sigur Rós and Björk.
