The Geneva quartet MASSICOT sounds as if it can barely keep its own energy under control. The no-frills, bone-dry guitar sound oscillates between hypnotically repetitive passages and noisy outbursts. The quartet’s songs are reduced to mere skeletons that burst with intensity.
Simone Aubert plays rhythm guitar with a manic energy; Lea Jaecklin coaxes sounds from her violin that have more to do with electronics than with a stringed instrument. Drummer Colline Grosjean works her way from Funk to Krautrock to tropical beats and back. And in addition to her work as a singer, Mara Krastina plays a charming, bright red mini-bass.

With her rapid-fire rhymes, gruff lyrics and impressive flow, Natalie Athanasiou aka Isabella Gotti aka NOLAY from South London counts among the trailblazers of Grime. The rapper with Greek Cypriot, Cuban and Caribbean roots has already shared the stage with Mobb Deep and many other stars of the scene. Collaborators include MC Ghetts, Tricky and others.
NOLAY has gained attention internationally with her wordplay and her talent as a rapper, garnering praise from Dazed & Confused to MTV to the New York Times. NOLAY combines her breathtakingly fast raps with stripped-down, dragging beats, dark sounds and basses that sit just barely above the lower limit of the perceptible range.

Clearly one of the nicest DJ careers of recent years has been that of DJ MARCELLE from Amsterdam. The Deejane who effortlessly combines pitched-down Industrial tracks with Finnish folklore and animal sounds now holds residencies in Zurich, Vienna, Berlin, Basel and Lausanne.
Hordes of frenetic fans swoon to her adventurous, perspiration-inducing sonic excursions. Marcelle always works with three turntables and is a virtuoso in combining styles and musical contexts, constantly confounding the expectations of the audience.
Like no other, Marcelle combines seemingly incompatible sounds and leads her audience into a universe between Fluxus, Dada, Monty Python, Dub, Post-Punk and the latest developments in electronic dance music.
