Pop-Kultur 2024 at Kulturbrauerei / 28—30.8.2024

Pop-Kultur, celebrated for bridging artists’ perspectives with societal dialogues, marks its tenth anniversary at the Kulturbrauerei in 2024. Since its inception in 2015, the festival has been a vibrant platform for emerging Berlin talents and a showcase for musicians from regions often overlooked by the mainstream.

The festival continues to challenge and inspire attendees with premieres of Commissioned Works that confront, provoke, and ultimately move its audience. Pop-Kultur’s diverse programme extends beyond performances, featuring “Pop-Kultur Diskurs” with talks and readings. The festival sees itself as a process in which the audience and artists participate alongside the team: collective approaches, post-migrant identities, intersectional discourse, inclusive projects, diasporic narratives, and queer perspectives all contribute to creating a space for mutual exchange. Inclusivity is a core element of the festival, ensuring accessible environments that foster true participation for all attendees.
