Q3Ambientfest returns for its second year at the fabrik Potsdam with plenty of D/B faves including Takeshi Nishimoto, Christoph Berg, Masayoshi Fujita and many more. Well worth a trip to Potsdam this April!
The Q3Ambientfest is a three-evening concert happening featuring artists from diverse genres, countries of origin and popularity. Carefully curated and organized by award-winning Potsdam-based cello-piano duo CEEYS and in partnership with dutch initiative FLUISTER, the handpicked festival invites and presents a selection of today’s contemporary composers, and is dedicated to the open-minded music lover.
Its aim is to create an interface to current music, between avant-garde and pop and Potsdam’s diverse historic architecture, from neo-classical palaces to pre-fabricated Communist-era panelhouses. It will take place in the fabrik Potsdam near the world-famous film town Babelsberg. Launching in 2017, Q3A has hosted 12 artists from 8 different countries.

This years lineup includes live performances by Takeshi Nishimoto (JP/Sonic Pieces), Carlos Cipa (DE/Denovali), Christoph Berg (DE/Sonic Pieces), Andrea Belfi (IT/Erased Tapes), Lisa Morgenstern (DE), Enzo Caterino (IT), Paddy Mulcahy (IR), Hania Rani (PL), Jakob Lindhagen & Vargkvint (SE/1631 Recordings), Masayoshi Fujita (JP/Erased Tapes), Diane Barbé (FR), CEEYS (DE/1631 Recordings) as well as DJ sets by Tobias Lichtmann (DE/Traurig und Untanzbar), Dirk Markham (DE/Digital in Berlin) and Oliver Hölcke (DE/Cinematic Ambient Concerts) and many more.
