Rausch’s event series Rausch / Sleepover Drone contextualises the work of contemporary drone, ambient, and field-recording artists who draw inspiration from minimalist pioneers like La Monte Young and Éliane Radigue.
Invited artists will develop soundscapes that create a deep listening experiences and evoke a profound meditative state. This gathering offers the opportunity to expand awareness of oral traditions and to engage freely with global complexities through electroacoustic live performances that utilise new technologies for sound composition.
Visitors are invited to bring sleeping gear—yoga mat, sleeping bag, and pillow—and prepare for a night of peaceful relaxation. In the morning, awaken to the comforting aromas of coffee, porridge, and tea, setting the tone for a rejuvenating weekend.
