STAER: Progressive, brutal, thundering lumps of rhythmic terror topped with horrifically distressed, screeching guitar abstractions.
Akin to fellow Norwegians Noxagt and Arabrot, STAER’s newly-released debut album on Gaffer Records pummels your ears and skull with all the delicacy of a hungover slaughterhouse worker.
Although executed in precise, deafening and slow motion-like, telluric movements, Staer reveal a harsh, seething frenzy. The earth shakes.

Berlin & London based noise musician Horacio Pollard is a master in machinegun drumming, power electronic feedback shred and guttural outpouring.
His shows are intense and spontaneous, often using just a mic and a large guitar amp. “Hardly any structure, no melodies, shortish, extra loud with some uncomfortable silences and an abrupt ending”.
