The Blank Tapes (US) are touring Europe & UK in support of their new album ‘Candy’ coming out June 29 on PIAPTK & It’s A Gas! and they play Schokoladen on the 3rd of September.
The Blank Tapes is the moniker of Los Angeles based multi-instrumentalist Matt Adams, who has produced over a dozen albums of 1960’s inspired folk-rock-surf-psych-soul-pop on Volcom, Burger Records, Antenna Farm and others. Their new album ‘Candy’ will be out on Jun 29th and is produced by Eric D Johnson at his home studio in Portland, OR featuring bandmates Will Halsey of ‘Sugar Candy Mountain’ and Vernonica Bianqui as well as EDJ. The Blank Tapes have toured throughout America, Canada, Brazil, UK, Europe and Japan. Matt is also the artist behind his band’s posters and album covers.
