This summer and autumn, The Brian Jonestown Massacre will once again enter German stages with their new album “Something Else”.
For the past four years, Anton Newcombe has released three acclaimed Brian Jonestown Massacre albums and one EP, as well as a complete soundtrack and a collaboration album with Tess Parks.
Two LPs are planned for 2018: “Something Else”, recorded and produced in Anton Newcombe’s Cobra Studio in Berlin, is the first of these and has recently been released on the 1st of June on white 180g vinyl.
The style of “Something Else” is less experimental compared to the last records, and instead relies more on the band’s original sound. The second self-titled record is expected to be released this September.
