‘Flux Capacitor’ is the fifth Burning Hell record, and it will have its official European release on May 11 at Ballhaus Ost.
[audio:The Burning Hell – My Name.mp3]Following the advice of a high school writing teacher who told the class ‘write what you know’, the Burning Hell’s Mathias Kom has written a whole collection of autobiographical songs that meander through themes of aging, time travel, nostalgia, pet euthanasia, big bushy beards and kissable lips.
At the very same show, the Burning Hell will debut ‘Hear Some Evil’, a limited edition 7″ red vinyl with Canada’s weirdest prog-folk enigma Wax Mannequin, featuring three songs and including a cover of Total Eclipse of the Heart.
Finally, May 11 will also be the very first time that ‘Duets Mit Germans’ will be available to the public on a limited edition cassette pressing on Ticker Tapes. Duets Mit Germans is a five song Burning Hell EP recorded at Madame Claude in Kreuzberg by Sylvain Livache, and features Mathias Kom in original lo-fi duets with Berlin superstars Susie Asado, Horror Me, Mumrik, Alisa Heller and Sibsi.
