In the fifth edition of “The Lake presents” sound tinkerer Mads Brauer (Efterklang, Liima) will present his brandnew collaboration with the Malian kora player Djelifily Sako.
As part of the s.t.a.r.g.a.z.e. ensemble they recently performed Terry Riley’s legendary “In C” together in Amsterdam and found a dense musical alliance.

On May 4, they will expand this collaboration at Roter Salon der Volksbühne at Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz for the first time – with finest electronica and wetted by penetrating play of the Kora.
Lars Greve is one of the most interesting saxophone and clarinet players in the Danish experimental music scene in these days. His latest album, “Breidablik” is a gem, cast from sound and influences he collected in western Denmark, where he grew up. This evening Grevewill collaborate with different musicians from Berlin.
