The J.A.W Family is keeping busy & welcomes another heavyweight Producer, Beat maker & DJ coming from the “D” for a special takeover: Jeedo aka WAAJEED.
Waajeed is not less than a former founder of the legendary Slum Village crew, together with his late close friend J Dilla & responsible for a handful of tracks on the group’s Trinity (Past, Present and Future) album.
He’s also the main creative force in the critically acclaimed project Platinum Pied Pipers & the executive producer on Detroit born soul singer Dwele’s pre-debut project, Rize.

Waajeed is responsible for the sought 12″ instrumental series starring himself & Dilla on his label Bling 47. His productions have led to him working with artists such as Roy Ayers or Radiohead. The Detroit native spent almost a decade amassing a serious arsenal of independent projects and ghost-writing for major labels before taking a two year break to focus on his brand new project: “Dirt Teck Rech Label”.
He brought not less than four new projects to the studio with him: the alias Jeedo / the sick collaboration with UR Mad Mike Banks, DJ Skurge, Theo Parrish and DJ Dez Andres as Electric Street Orchestra / the Jodeci re-work project&homage Jeedeci / the three-piece band Tiny Hearts.
